Hi everyone!
We are currently in Ko Phi Phi (pronounced Pee Pee)! We took an all night "Luxury boat with sleeping berths". Prison came to mind (though we still had a blast). A very long journey to get here, busses, vans, boats, and we were all sad to leave Ko Tao, but Phi Phi is also beautiful. More expensive than Ko Tao and not quite as beautiful, it was hit very hard by the tsunami in 2004 (?) and is clearly still recovering. We spent the day getting here, arriving this afternoon, prompting finding lodging at the Orange Tree (best we've had to date), went to the beach, swam, read, and enjoyed pinapple shakes and shirley temples (Ryan). We've been making European friends everywhere, periodically running into them, it's been fun to see familiar faces. Peter is very happy; English soccer is being played everywhere (he stayed in the room to watch Hull v. Wigan). Dom's celebrity marches on; everyone comments and gets excited. Ryan's bartering skills continue to lead us around Thailand, we're all grateful for his knowledge and experience.
We had our first Thai massages, much needed after a lot of exploring. Our four masseuses were absolutely hysterical, I think we were all laughing the whole time. One was quite fond of Dom and we think she may try to come home with him.
I hope everyone's well, sorry I haven't written, the transit and internet cafe hours/locations have made it a bit tricky, but we've been thinking of you all.
Best,
Anton
