Hi everyone!
Today we got a bit of a slow start but we decided we wanted to go to Maya Beach and Monkey beach via long tail (think Venetian boat, but with a 1985 Buick engine and, mercifully, a sun shade). Monkey beach was indeed teeming with monkeys, of which we got plenty of pictures. Maya Beach is where the filmed the movie The Beach, and is every bit as spectacular is you'd think it would be. As Pete said, "it's as beautiful above the water as beneath". Had a nap, and we're off to meet some friends for dinner. It looks as though Dom will be able to stay an extra week too, which is fantastic.
We continue to pinch ourselves. Sorry the pictures aren't working, but we'll have plenty to share when we return. Tomorrow to Phuket and then fly to Chiang Mai on the 6th.
Can't belive I've only got less than a week!
